Deep regenerative practice invites a commitment to go beyond superficial change toward systemic transformation.
August 31, 2023 – In commitment to deepening and engaging with Race and Equity in the nRhythm landscape of offerings, nRhythm announces a partnership with Dr. Dianne Regisford of Evoking Belonging. This partnership emerges from Dianne’s work as nRhythm’s Managing Director of Race and Equity. For the past six months, Dianne has led our team through deep enquiry into the integration of race and equity work in the regenerative movement. The enquiry also explored the potential that can be unleashed through the inter-weaving of the nRhythm and Evoking Belonging frameworks.
The Regenerative Race & Equity program is the first offering to emerge through this partnership, and we invite our community to join us for the live program preview and informational webinar on Tuesday, September 12th, at 11:00am ET.
“I first began exploring the nRhythm framework and programs as one of the 25 fellows in the inaugural cohort of the nRhythm fellowship during 2022. Over the past six months, our collective enquiry has illuminated some of the key issues that are critical to transformative regenerative race and equity work. Specifically, I advocate for the necessity for participatory approaches, deceleration of time and the provision of abundant resources (time, personal attention, financial, therapeutic and environmental) to create the necessary conditions to develop trust and a sense of safety for all. In this way, the nuances and complexities of this well-intentioned work can be engaged with sensitivity and due regard to redressing harm caused by hundreds of years of slavery, colonialism and the resultant impact of white supremacy at all levels in society.
The potential of the Evoking Belonging race, equity and regeneration co-creation work, in partnership with nRhythm, complements and deepens conventional approaches to anti-racism education by creating a living practice approach. I look forward to the unfolding and the transformation”, says Dr Dianne Regisford.
The Evoking Belonging body of work aligns to the nRhythm framework for organizational health through its regenerative, immersive approach to participatory, qualitative research and transformative experiential design. Dianne’s practice, based in the domain of Social Sculpture is deeply rooted in the African Bantu philosophy of Ubuntu. Dianne brings a unique approach to race and equity consulting and research that integrates contemplative, embodiment practices to narrative enquiry with an evocative protocol which requires personal commitment and participation from all.
“I knew within the first 5 minutes of meeting Dr. Dianne that she has created and embodies a unique approach to Race and Equity work that is deeply aligned with the patterns of living systems grounding nRhythm’s regenerative framework. I am so excited that my initial intuition into the potential of combining our work, is coming to fruition through this exciting partnership. The learnings and wisdom from our last six months of deep exploration and lived experiences of integrating Race and Equity into nRhythm, has informed the creation of our first joint offering. We intend that this will serve clients and organizations from all sectors looking to authentically integrate Race and Equity work into their context. We are so grateful for Dianne’s presence, grace and wisdom over the last six months and her continued courage and commitment to serve as the inaugural Stewarding Partner for Race and Equity at nRhythm," says Jeff Su, Managing Director at nRhythm.
